Building partnerships through creativity and justice:
3-5 July 2024, Mercure Exeter Rougemont Hotel
PPIE in research has never been more recognised and important in health and care research. It’s important for people to have a say in publicly funded research and be given the opportunity to make decisions, shape, and learn about research which might affect them; to work with research in a way that is done ‘for’ or ‘with’ them, rather than ‘to’ or ‘about’ them. Public involvement in research can make research stronger and more relevant.
First held successfully in 2023, this unique event is an opportunity to explore beyond the numbers and the rhetoric. We will consider innovative and honest ways to create and spread knowledge and will explore how to foster its uptake through partnerships with care sectors, the public and communities; partnerships that reflect integrity, creativity and justice.
Course Fee: £650
