Dr Peter Baffoe completed hius PhD in Applied Health/ Social work at the University of Kent. 

His research explored how Approved Mental Health Professionals make decisions about compulsory detention under the Mental Health Act - and why people from Balck and ethnic minority communities are far more likely to be detained.
