The third episode of the Talk In Equality podcast series that explores the role of research in addressing health inequalities experienced by minoritised groups is now available.

Funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Applied Research Collaboration Kent, Surrey and Sussex and supported by the NIHR Research Design Service South East and the NIHR Clinical Research Network, Kent Surrey and Sussex, Gary Hickey (Agora Digital Centre at the University of Southampton), Dr Anusree Biswas Sasidharan (Bridging Change) and Lillian Ndawula (Ethnic Minorities in Canterbury) take the stage with a series of interviews and special guests.

In this episode, A perspective from the Health Research Authority, Anusree and Lillian speak to Dr Matt Westmore, Chief Executive at the Health Research Authority.  They quiz Matt about the steps taken by the Health Research Authority to increase representation in research and the important role that community organisations can play.
