We’re updating our website

We are currently updating the ARC KSS website to reflect our new funding and the changes it brings to our programme of work.  These changes will take place over the course of the next few months.

Please bear with us while we work behind the scenes to make these improvements. We thank you for your patience.

In the meantime, if you need help finding anything, please contact spft.arcksscommunications@nhs.net

This year the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Applied Research Collaboration Kent, Surrey and Sussex's (ARC KSS) Research Week 2026 takes place from Monday 14 to Thursday 17 September.

There will be a wide range of learning and development events, research insight talks and presentations, specifically aimed at applied health and social care researchers. Whether you are an experienced researcher, an early career researcher, a PhD student, or work in health and social care, we hope there will be something of interest for everyone.

Our focus this year is on Advancing Inclusive Research: Equity, partnership, and participation in applied research. Over the course of 4 days, we will bring as many people together, as possible, from across academia and health and social care to take part in and learn about the projects planned and funding opportunities coming up across the region. All events are free and available for anyone to sign up to online.

We will also be holding a free, all-day, in-person event at the University of Kent on Thursday 17 September 2026.  This will include a range of keynote speakers, workshops, a poster competition - details of which you will find below - and the chance to network and meet colleagues from across the region.
