We’re updating our website

We are currently updating the ARC KSS website to reflect our new funding and the changes it brings to our programme of work.  These changes will take place over the course of the next few months.

Please bear with us while we work behind the scenes to make these improvements. We thank you for your patience.

In the meantime, if you need help finding anything, please contact spft.arcksscommunications@nhs.net

ARC KSS Academy Research Week 2021

This summer, ARC KSS Academy will be hosting a week of free, online events to support the learning and development needs of applied health and social care researchers across Kent, Surrey and Sussex.

From Monday 12 to Friday 16 July 2021, there will be a varied programme of workshops and presentations provided by ARC KSS colleagues and external speakers in the areas of capacity building, co-production, Public and Community Involvement and Engagement (PCIE) and Implementation.

The week, which follows the topics identified in our recent researchers’ survey, will also feature sessions from the ARC KSS research themes and the National Priorities Programme in Adult Social Care and Social Work programme.

A full programme of events and how to book are available here.

Competition time

As part of Researcher’s Week, ARC KSS Academy would also like to recognise and celebrate the contributions that applied health and social care researchers have made, over the last 12 to 18 months.

We are running a research poster competition for outstanding contributions to applied health and social care research during 2020/21. The competition is open to any Applied Health and Social Care Researchers working in Kent, Surrey and Sussex including academics, health care professionals, social care professionals or anyone who works to support health and social care in our region. We encourage anyone with a story of their applied research over the last 12-18 months to put your work into a Powerpoint poster and submit to:
