The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) is responsible for ensuring that the research they fund is rigorous, reproducible and benefits the diverse populations covered by their funded research.
Sex and gender play fundamental roles in a person’s, or population’s, experience of health, illness and social care as well as the wider determinants of health. This event, led by Professor Carrie Llewellyn at Brighton and Sussex Medical School and ARC KSS Primary and Community Healthcare Theme Lead, will consider the purpose and principles of the NIHR Policy and how new requirements may impact on NIHR funding opportunities from an applicant and panels perspective.
