"Support That Matters" – A Dementia Art Exhibition

As part of Dementia Action Week (19-25 May 2025), the ARC KSS Dementia Fellows, Alessandro Bosco, Georgia Bell, Rasa Mikelyte, Sarah Polack and Barbora Silarova, along with artists and the Bright Shadow Dementia Arts Charity, will be hosting a unique art exhibition, created by people living with dementia, exploring 'What support matters most to you?'

Through artwork, personal stories, and research insights, this exhibition highlights the importance of different kinds of support in the lives of those with dementia. It celebrates the talents and experiences of those living with dementia while encouraging conversation and understanding. Everyone is welcome to attend and engage with the artwork and stories on display.  

Exhibition Dates & Locations:


Skyway Gallery (Shoreham-by-Sea) – 9-15 May 2025 (Opening night: 8 May, 5:30-7:30pm)
Creative Space Gallery (Whitstable) – 21-26 May 2025 (Opening night: 20 May, 5-8pm)
Virtual Exhibition – 23 May 2025, 12-1pm  

The in-person exhibition events do not require registration.
