Creative approaches to community engagement and involvement Showcase

There is an increasing expectation for more inclusive and diverse approaches to research, with communities and the public being involved throughout the research cycle. Methods such as co-production and participatory research have become common practices.

Thinking creatively about different ways to engage, involve, and collaborate with the public and community can help foster deeper conversations, build stronger trust, and allow for flexible approaches that welcome people from various backgrounds, abilities, and perspectives.

During this event, we look forward to sharing insights on the benefits of creative approaches to community engagement and involvement, as well as sharing examples of how others have successfully integrated these approaches into their research.

It is open to anyone who would like to hear more about this topic, including: academics/researchers, health and care professionals and provider organisations, community partners and members of the public.
