Paul Birchett

Social Care Theme Public Advisor

Paul Birchett

Paul is a Public Adviser for the Social Care theme and also contributes to the overall governance of ARC KSS through the Public and Community Group and PCIE Strategy.

He has had work and personal experience in the Social Care system for over thirty years. He is a qualified residential social worker and counsellor and has been a manager of a care home. Paul is disabled and a wheelchair user and has a particular interest in access to sport and fitness for disabled people. He has also taught Self-management for Social Care service users. When Paul is not working, he loves to be in his garden.
