Dr Catarina Sacadura

Cat has been working at the Research and Development Department at Sussex Partnership Foundation Trust for the last 8 years. She has worked on a variety of randomised controlled trials focusing on cognitive behavioural therapy and social recovery therapy for complex difficulties. These have included Prodigy (Prevention of long-term social disability amongst young people with emerging psychological difficulties), SlowMo (a digital therapy targeting reasoning in paranoia) and, more recently, STAR (Study of Trauma and Recovery). Cat is also particularly interested in compassionate leadership and wellbeing at work, as well as addressing stigma and changing public perception of mental health.
