Professor Julien Forder

Theme Lead - Social Care

Professor Julien Forder

Julien Forder is Professor of the Economics of Social Policy. He is the theme lead for social care in the Kent Surrey and Sussex Applied Research Collaboration (KSS ARC), and the lead for the social care national leadership area that the ARCs are working upon together. Julien is interested in policy and practice in social care. He directs the NIHR Policy Research Unit on Quality, Safety and Outcomes and leads the Kent University arm of the NIHR Policy Research Unit on Adult Social Care (ASCRU). Previously Julien had secondments to the Department of Health strategy unit and to the King’s Fund.
